Updates
Our Beefsteak Tomatoes, which are in buckets, are coming along slowly. They have had issues with leaves and branches yellowing and dying. It may be the excessive heat here in Southeast Alabama. We did place them under some trees for now to protect against that.
Our cucumber plants are producing several a day and to maximize that we have begun to pickle some of them. We are using this recipe first. Hopefully it goes well!
Here is our first official harvest from our White Acre Peas, Rows 1 and 3. We will have more harvests in the coming weeks, but I am very excited for this.
Just today alone we harvested 20 cucumbers! We will have to pickle many more to preserve them.
