Notes
Our Kentucky Garden Beans are flowering. They should be producing pods in the next week or so.
We harvested our Red Norland and Blue Adirondack potatoes. There were not as many as we expected and were smaller than expected. As stated before, we believe it is because they were planted out of season and had to endure the excessive heat. Many of them had holes from worms that decided to enjoy them first. It’s disappointing but it’s a good lesson to learn.
Our Mammoth Sunflowers (in pots) are beginning to bloom.
Here is a nice red zinnia in one of our side flower gardens.
We emptied out the bed where our Red Norland and Blue Adirondack potatoes were. We are contemplating on what to plant in this bed next. Maybe beets, maybe lettuce. Either way it is always exciting to sow something new!
Our mint bush is thriving better than ever!
